The EinScan Pro 2X 2020 is the latest scanner from the popular EinScan 2X line. It is the best option for scanning small to medium parts - roughly 3 cm to 100 cm - with a fixed scan mode and an automated turntable and portable scanning mode.

Pro 2X 2020 is a more budget-friendly option compared with the EinScan Pro HD. The result is a more specialised scanner for small and medium parts and objects. This scanner’s smaller FOV (field of view) has the advantage of higher resolution, which is beneficial for digital display, AR and VR and medical applications. The Pro 2X 2020 includes SolidEdge Shining 3D edition to comprise a useful package for reverse engineering applications and the automotive industry.

This hand-held 3D scanner offers a fantastic price-to-performance ratio, deliverying quality results in a matter of minutes. Particularly suited to small to medium-sized objects this scanner is lightweight and compact in size, making it portable and extremely versatile. There are four different 3D scanning modes available:

1. Handheld Rapid Scan Mode

3. Fixed Scan Mode (with turntable)
4. Fixed Scan Mode (without turntable)

The scanner also supports a range of alignment modes, including feature alignment, markers alignment, turntable coded targets alignment, and manual alignment.

The latest development in data capture hardware and optimized algo- rithms, makes EinScan Pro 2X 2020 a dramatic breakthrough in scan- ning speed, processing up to 1,500,000 points per second (30 fps) under Handheld Rapid Scan Mode. High Speed Data Transmission via USB 3.0

HIGH ACCURACY:

Single scan accuracy under Fixed Scan Mode is up to 0.04 mm. When using markers, the volumetric accuracy under handheld scanning mo- des is up to 0.045mm+0.3mm/m.

CATCH FINE DETAILS:

The minimum point distance is up to 0.2mm under Handheld Rapid Scan and Handheld HD Scan modes, generating high resolution 3D data.

VERSATILE SCAN MODES & ALIGN MODES:

Supports Handheld Rapid Scan, Handheld HD Scan, Fixed Scan wi- thout Turntable, and Fixed Scan with Turntable modes, as well as multiple alignment modes including feature alignment, marker alignment, texture alignment, turntable coded targets alignment, and manual alignment.

MODULAR DESIGN TO MEET WIDER RANGE OF APPLICATIONS:

Colour Pack and Industrial Pack, as optional add-ons to EinScan Pro 2X 2020 for various scanning experiences and applications.

With a modular design and a number of optional packs that can be added to enhance the 3D scanning experience. The Colour Pack allows you to capture full-colour textures alongside the object’s geometry. If you want to use a turntable and tripod to help automate the scanning process, you can do so by adding the Industrial Pack.

NEW SOFTWARE: Brand-new UI and Workflow User-Friendly Operation. New Operation Mode Option allows users a faster scanning experience during operation and set the resolution option afterwards during the data processing, which improves scanning efficiency.

Simultaneous Data Display Data Listing Including Scans and Groups Each scan obtained will be listed individually in the data list, which can be edited, and manually aligned separately.

High Compatibility Outputs standard file formats includes STL, OBJ, PLY, ASC, 3MF and P3 (global markers file). Compatible with most mainstream software packages in the market.

TEXTURE ALIGN:

Use the texture feature for auto aligning during scanning. This texture alignment is now available under Handheld Rapid Scan mode. Texture alignment is helpful when you have difficulty in aligning scans that don’t have much geometry.

To use the texture alignment, your device needs to be installed with the Colour Pack. To access, select the Handheld Rapid Scan- New Project – Select Align Mode – Texture.

DATA LIST UNDER HANDHELD SCAN MODE:

Now in V3.4, not only fixed scan, but also hand held scan can support data listing function. You can create different scans/projects under one workspace, and edit or manually align by picking 3 common points to put scans/projects together.

DEVICE RECONNECTION:

In case facing device is offline during scanning by reasons like plugs disconnected, now simply click the reconnect button and you can keep scanning the objects you previously working on instead of creating a new project.

MULTI-VIEWING OPTION FOR POST-PROCESSING & MEASURING:

To make it easier for align 3D data, a multi-view function is added under post-processing and measuring interface. Now you can view data from multiple perspectives and place it according to your needs.
