Description

Neschen Gudy 804 70µm: Double-sided, self-adhesive, cadmium-free, transparent Polyester film developed for user-friendly bonding on glass surfaces.  Easy to handle, mount and reposition, even by unpracticed users, without leaving residue.  Create stunning, bubble-free graphics for a variety of applications ranging from shop windows, car windows, shop doors, promotional graphics, lighted showcases etc.

PROCESSING & HANDLING:

• For all installations care must be taken when removing the release liner as not to inadvertently remove any adhesive with it. Images applied with the reversible side will be removed almost residue-free if required.
• Windows should be cleaned with soap and water, thoroughly rinsed with clear water and wiped dry. Window cleaning solutions are not recommended. If used be sure the window is completely dry and wiped down with a dry, clean towel.
• The low tack adhesive is designed for excellent repositioning on the initial installation. Graphics may be repositioned several times successfully without any changes to the original structure of the micro grooves in the adhesive.
• Once the graphics have been in place for a period of 24 hours the adhesive becomes more aggressive, prior removal and reapplication should therefore be avoided.
• Unusual moisture condensation can result in product failure. If graphics are installed in an area that is known to have this condition, it is advised that the edges have to be sealed to prevent moisture penetration. In event of failure the result will be a white milky discolouration in the graphic. This condition will however disappear when all the moisture has dissipated. The graphic will return to its original clarity.
• Based on our experiences a short term application (3 to 6 months) on clear cast acrylic sheet* should not lead to any issues.
• Possible adhesive residue may be cleaned optionally with benzine or denatured alcohol
• The period of use when bonded to the inner side of glass windows with moderate direct sun is between 2 and 3 month. While there are some UV inhibiting characteristics in gudy® window, Neschen does not guarantee the colour fastness of the image for this period of time.
• Bigger sizes (>1.5m²) and / or relatively heavy images may create performance problems and need to be tested first.
• Please note that due to the multiple areas of application of this material (combined with various films, sheets of PVC or other application substrates) physically- determined dimensional fluctuation might occur that can possibly be triggered by fluctuations in temperature during processing and/or during actual application. For this reason, all specifications in our technical information are meant as references, and explicitly not intended as a basis for warranty or guarantee. Because it is impossible to test every possible print -application combination, we recommend customers conduct their own tests to see if the material is qualified for the actual end use.
