Neschen Gudy 832 Fine Art Textured 44µm: A great choice for image mounting! Acid-free, paper-based mounting film for mounting heavy, highly structured fine art and artist papers on rigid boards such as aluminium, Kapa®, Colourmount Fine Mountboards and other commonly-used board materials. Gudy 832 Fine Art textured is used by professional and semi-professional distributors of art reproductions, photographers and in the digital art sector.

This paper-based mounting film is perfect for mounting on acid-free or handmade papers made of 100% cotton fibres. The narrow dimensions allow an easy and professional assembly of different passpartout cartons. In addition, gudy 832 offers a wide range of applications for bookbinders, restorers and printers. The best results are achieved with processing on roll laminators (Neschen PhotoLam, ColdLam, HotLam), but manual assembly is also possible.

PROCESSING & HANDLING:

• Neschen point out that most of the plastic sheets (Forex®, Simon®, Kömacel®, Polystyrol®) possibly have a special coating, which demonstrably reduce a clean application. Therefore it is essential to clean the surface with a suitable cleaning agent to get the surface dry as well as free of dust, grease and other contaminations. For cleaning it is recommended to use a clean linen sheet, ethyl alcohol, benzine or a mild plastic cleaning agent. Cleaning agents often lead to embrittlement or matting of the surface, therefore own tests are mandatory.
• Please note that due to the multiple areas of application of this material (combined with various films, sheets of PVC or other application substrates) physically- determined dimensional fluctuation might occur that can possibly be triggered by fluctuations in temperature during processing and/or during actual application.
