Canon LFM037 Blue Back Paper 115g/m² 97002994 36" 914mm x 100m roll

  • Description

    CANON CARTRIDGE BANNER

Canon LFM037 Blue Back Paper 115g/m²: A matt coated blue back paper with good wet-strength, for short term outdoor use. Optimised for use with Canon CrystalPoint printers.

    ABOUT CRYSTALPOINT TECHNOLOGY:

Choosing between printing technologies is not easy, especially if your printing needs include an extensive mix of applications: line and text prints, full-colour photo prints and mixed sets of colour and black & white. Should you opt for an LED toner printer, with superior media independence, no feathering and instant-dry prints? Or for an inkjet printer, clean and with highly accurate dot positioning on expensive coated media?

CONSISTENT QUALITY, MEDIA INDEPENDENT: The toner gel ensures strong adhesion to a wide range of media, and sharp lines without feathering for highly accurate fine details. Since CrystalPoint works with any media, even recycled uncoated paper, you no longer need to invest in expensive, heavy, glossy paper for crisp glossy or semi-glossy prints.

INCREASED PRODUCTIVITY: Prints made with the CrystalPoint technology are robust and dry instantly. Handling, stacking and folding can take place immediately, and you don’t have to switch media for the various applications you need.

SUSTAINABLE: With CrystalPoint, you will experience no ozone emissions, no odour, no system contamination by powder or ink and minimal waste disposal. The toner waste is solid and completely non-toxic, and can be disposed of as part of regular office waste.

  • Printing Guidelines

It is recommended to handle the media with cotton gloves. Make sure that the media comes not into contact with grease, oil, silicon, and dirt to avoid printing defects. Insert media with care in the printers. Incorrect loading can cause skewing or creasing.

Allow material to adapt to room conditions for 24 hours before printing. It is recommended to calibrate the printer before printing and to make a test print. Print results will vary for different printers. Ink/toner restrictions and printer settings have to be set for specific printers to obtain the best results.

Canon media profiles include recommended ink restrictions and printer settings for Canon supported printers.

  • Application Guidelines

This paper can be pasted as a billboard paper. The “wet” pasting method is not recommended when printed with CrystalPoint® toner. Use the dry pasting method instead: apply the glue on the back of a dry print and on the billboard. Wait for a few minutes and then apply the print billboard.

Applying glue on the front of the poster is not recommended, as this may result in damage to the print. Starch-based glues can be used. Some well-known glues in this category are: Henkel Zellura and Avebe Solvicol.

When laminating CrystalPoint® prints pressure sensitive laminates are recommended. A laminator with soft, rubber rollers is preferred. For optimal results temperature should be set between 55-60°C.
